SCREEN PRINTING BACK DROP
This morning Steph , Nicole and Zac began to create the backdrop for our area.
The dimensions are 5 meters wide by a height of 3 meters.
The fabric Steph source from Fabric Warehouse was 1 meter by 10 meters.
FINAL RESULT
Although there are minor errors in the screen printing ( original emultion rubbing off) the full length turned out really well as a backdrop and will cover alot of white space in the area .
I believe this should start giving the scene a real tropicana vibe
PREPARATION :
Mixing the Emultion + Green Paint to get a light green for the first coat
Washing and Prepping the Screen with
- Masking Tape
- Brown Emultion
- Ultra Violet light to create stencil imprint
- Screen A3
Steph (Textiles Major) made the stencil
TEST PRINT DRAFT 1:
-Light Green Print
-Dark Green overlay Print on top
LET THE SCREEN PRINTING BEGIN !!!!!
-Layer 1 Light Green
- 4 Prints per Screen Before need to Wash it !!!
