Great Hall Positioning and Predicting Quality of Sound

GREAT HALL POSITIONING AND PREDICTING THE SOUND QUALITY  + TALKING TO DAVID PEARCE

NICOLE : I personally tried to contact David Pearce 3 times on his extension line to discuss the issue of the stage however he didn't pick up .

Therefore, I ended up going to his office and asking him for a stage directly . We discussed how the Great Hall was booked and the idea for Club Tropicana .

PROBLEMATIC

He agreed to lend us a stage however never took my name and told me to come back closer to the time of the event.

This is a bit frustrating because in order to create a realistic gig we really need to provide the musicians with the equipment need to run a professional show

PROBLEMATIC

-A problematic issue that we will run into is the quality of sound produced / distorted by the echoes of the Great Hall !

-  We will be testing the quality of sound in different areas of the Great Hall.

- We don't want to be outside as it is a music scene and we want to be enticing therefore      we need to be inside , around other people and their stalls.

 ORIGINAL POSITIONING  FOR MUSIC SCENE

- The middle positon of the hall could be really echoy as it is central

A LIST OF WHAT WE WILL NEED FOR THE MARKET DAY
TO RUN A SUCESSFUL MUSIC SCENE

KEY QUESTIONS

- How can we dress the area to make it feel more Tropicana ?
- Is this a good final theme ?
- Does the music match the vibe created by the theme ?
- Will this entice people to come visit ?
